Simple adjustments like these can make a real difference. ☝️
In busy hospitality environments, instructions are often given quickly and expectations can sometimes be unclear. For neurodivergent colleagues, this can make tasks harder to process or increase pressure during already fast-paced shifts.
Clarity benefits everyone. When expectations are clear, teams feel more confident and able to perform at their best.
This is one of the practical areas explored in our refreshed guide, Building a Neuroinclusive Workforce.

Poor wellbeing has a real impact on people, teams and businesses across licensed hospitality.
Our latest Wellbeing at Work Research shows that sick days are costing the beer and pub industry £306 million a year, but the impact goes beyond absence.
Stress, sleep disruption and presenteeism all affect how people feel, work and perform.

Today, we`re proud to launch a new edition of Building a Neuroinclusive Workforce, our practical guide to supporting neurodivergent people in licensed hospitality.

Big news for the LTC JOGLE Pub Run…🥁
We’re proud to share that Gary McKee MBE, known to many as the “Marathon Man”, will be joining us for the full journey from John O’Groats to Land’s End. 🤩
Gary is no stranger to extraordinary challenges. After completing 365 marathons in 365 days and raising more than £1.3 million for charity, he’s now taking on every mile of our 900 mile fundraising challenge to help support people across the licensed hospitality community.
From Monday 13 July to Tuesday 11 August 2026, the LTC JOGLE Pub Run will bring people together across the UK, whether they’re running, walking, volunteering, cheering or supporting along the route.
It’s a huge challenge with a simple purpose: to raise vital funds so LTC can continue providing practical advice, financial assistance and wellbeing support to those in our licensed hospitality community who need it. 💚
Thank you to Gary for helping us make every mile matter, and to our supporters Lucky Saint, Avani Solutions, Thatchers Cider, Star Pubs, Punch Pubs and Strava for backing the journey.
Whether you’re a hospitality business, team member, supplier, runner, walker or supporter, there are plenty of ways to get involved.
Join the Strava Club and take on the miles virtually, join us for one of our four Community Days or if you have a question, contact us at `info@fbbstrainingacademy.com`
